Oppression from people's eyes, perspectives, stereotypes, and ideas. I or you want to feel free and be released. 

By using safety pins that have cold colors and sharp shapes, it represents the cage and restriction which I mentioned above. Also, by adding beads on pins, It implies that the world always wants only good and beautiful things from us, and we follow the rule and directions without our own freedom and desire.
